About

Steve  has 35 years of experience in archaeology,  focused on historical preservation, cultural resource management (CRM), and stewardship of our shared heritage.  His work with multiple U.S. government agencies has involved overseeing compliance, site evaluation, preservation planning, Native American consultation  and balancing development with responsible resource protection.

In addition to an archaeological career, he served over 30 years in the U.S. Army, where he gained extensive experience in operational planning, media operations, strategic communications, combat arms, and information operations. 

He has conducted archaeological and ethnographic fieldwork throughout the American West, Africa,  Europe, the Levant and Central America.
